We where given an upgrade from this cabin to a cat #8.. This is the only cabin on board that is sideways right near the stairs on deck 7..Its a nice cabin, a little longer than most, but cut short buy a few feet leaving you with one nite table, not 2 like in all the others...Now to the problem..at nite you will hear a metal clanging sound above you. It comes from a train that is running behind the kitchen moving items around during the nite time hours.. Needless to say, I asked my cabin attendent about the noise, and the following day a letter was on my bed asking my wife and I to come to the reception desk, I had no idea what the letter was about..Turns out the Opera staff are well aware of the noise.. Illena, the lovely head room attendent offered me another cabin. Well being the gentleman that I am..I accepted her offer..Not bad for starting out with a cat#1.

And by "offer me another cabin" Mark means they gave him a second cabin! Yes - he had 2 cabins! He didn't have to unpack and repack. They just slept in one cabin and used the other as their dressing/party room. He's our hero!!! That's why he's our Prime Minister (plus he's a nice guy!):D
