Poolside Cabanas or something else?

We will be on Carnival Magic in April '23. We are a party of 6.  I am looking at the Poolside Cabanas and it says minimum age is 14. Anyone know if they actually check ages? My youngest will be 12 at the time but he is actually taller than I am LOL

We are not sure what else to do at this port as our oldest (19 at the time) is heat intolerant so we need to be able to have access to air conditioning for her just in case.

Thanks!

  • 2 weeks later...

There were definitely kids below 14 at the poolside cabanas when we went last week. the youngest in our party was 14, but the adjacent cabana had some definitely under 10. As for the air conditioning, the cabana is not really fully enclosed, but if you shut all the doors you can get a bit of cooling. I have included our video tour from our cabana to give you a little bit of an idea of what to expect.
