TreeCity Posted April 4, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2022 LGB (Long Beach) or SNA (John Wayne)? Can some one give me the pros and cons, please? Would prefer not to fly into LAX. Hotel is booked in San Pedro (Crowne Plaza Los Angles Harbor Hotel).
pkster Posted April 4, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2022 Definitely Long Beach, based on distance. LGB to San Pedro cruise terminal is 15 miles vs. 35 miles SNA to San Pedro.
KeepCalmBearOn Posted April 4, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2022 LGB first, then SNA. LAX is even behind ONT and BUR for me.

Bruin Steve Posted April 4, 2022 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2022 (edited) Personally, I have no problem flying in or out of LAX...and it's only 20 miles from San Pedro and has the best selection of nonstop flights in and out from and to virtually EVERYWHERE. I know some people find the size and amount of activity intimidating, but I fly in and out often and have never had any great problems...Yes, I prefer to fly in and out of Burbank...but it's hard to find flights that don't require extra stops and/or that don't cost considerably more...similar issues with LGB. If you can find better NONSTOP flights to LGB at the same or lower cost, grab it. But I would NEVER give up nonstop or take a less desirable flight time just to avoid LAX. JMHO. csm5986142 Posted April 13, 2022 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2022 If at all possible, I always choose LGB, but I agree, tougher to find direct flights.
