Velvet on Breakaway

Going on the Breakaway mid-June and will have my 8 yr old son along for the ride. There is talk that the Splash Academy might be open by then but I'm trying to plan thing as if it's not just in case. Anyone who's seen Velvet at the Speigal Tent, is it appropriate for a kid? Too risque?

Saw it last Sept on Breakaway and imho I could barely sit through it.  Would not bring my 10 & 11 to see it...
