Sending Postcards at Panama Canal - Where?

This was posted by Susan in the thread on viewing the Canal:

 

"Send them [postcards]from the canal and not the other ports. I sent mine from a few of the ports and the cards from Mexico never made it! the cards from the canal did. the postage was cheaper and the 25 cent postcard stamp has a cool picture of the canal on it!"

 

I have also read that the stamps available at the Panama Canal port, Cristobal/Colon, are lovely. However, where in the pier area can you purchase those stamps and mail the postcards?
