ST.Lucia, Marigot Bay questions

Greetings,

Has anyone been to Marigot Bay? If so how far is it from where the Serenade docks in Castries. Also do you know of a place that rents chairs?

If anyone has recomommendations on Marigot Bay I would appreciate your input.:)

We were there a couple of years ago on Serenade and we took a taxi to Marigot beach. They dropped us at a Hotel and we had to pay the kids on the beach a couple of dollars for a lounge chair. I think the taxi was 6 or 8 bucks pp and they came back to pick us up at a time we dicided. It was beautiful there, there was an guy in an old boat who came by every couple of hours and had all kinds of fresh fruit that he sold very cheap and it was delicious. We rented a Jet ski, and they had all kinds of water sports stuff there. We sailed back to back on Serenade so we were in St Lucia twice over a two week period. We still feel it is our most favorite island, it is very beautiful.
