How close to cruise date can you cancel shore excursions? Do you get OBC, or a refund?

If we cancel our shore excursions, how close to the cruise date can we cancel? Also, do we get OBC or an actual refund? Thanks.

Except for special excursions involving air, train, hotel (e.g., some overnight excursions) and Private Journey, it's 24 hours prior to scheduled shorex departure.  Refund back in the way it was originally paid.
