Babyjax12 Posted May 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2022 Pleeeeaaassee be patient with us asking these (nerve wracking) questions. Yes, I’ve searched the forum. Sigh. So time line for PCR test and AirCan is what? Which comes first? They both seem to say you need to do them within 48 hours. (Even though Canada’s requirements for those flying in from USA seem to say 72 hours.) Flying into Vancouver for a cruise with NCL. TIA
5waldos Posted May 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2022 (edited) ArriveCAN must be completed inside the 72 hours prior to arrival in Canada and also boarding the ship. You can use one if you aren't spending extra time in Canada prior to boarding. You don't need a test to enter Canada but do to board the ship. Proof of a professionally administered or observed negative antigen test taken no more than 2 days before you’re scheduled to board your ship. The 2-day window does not depend on the time of day the test was taken or the time that you board. For example, if your ship is scheduled to leave on Friday, you could provide proof of a negative result from an antigen test taken any time on Wednesday, Thursday, or on Friday Hope that helps. SfeinbergCapeCod Posted May 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2022 Bear in mind that every cruise line has different testing requirements. Viking says within 72 hours of boarding.
