Adding a passenger to a cabin past final payment?

Has any tried to do this?  I'm a solo traveler and I have recently booked and paid for a one week cruise RT Seattle to Alaska.  I booked myself on the Princess website.  Now a friend of mine apparently really want to go with me.  I am hoping to avoid cancelling and rebooking as I have my flights and excursion set and payed for and now 2 of those excursions are sold out.

 

Any advise MUCH appreciated.

I just did the same thing for a Princess cruise and we called the 800 number and it was super easy to add a passenger. The phone wait time took longer than it did to add my friend.

I did this once and because I had already paid for the cruise, the extra person paid me personally for her part. I think there were some additional fees had to be paid for port fees, etc. but the base fare was paid to me.
