Caribbean cruise

Hi all. Can anyone tell me what the port of Fort De France, Martinique is like please? Beaches etc.

Unfortunately not very good, we stay on the ship that day, towns a dump and people (locals) very rude.

have to agree that it is a bit of a dump.  We went ashore for a walk around and didn't think much of it at all so we were back on board early.

  Be aware that it is French so the local currency is the euro. and the local language is French.
