VineaMea Posted June 2, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2022 Hi, I'm considering tbooking the supper club. Has anyone gone post-pandemic? What's it like? Is it worth it as opposed to other activities?
snorklinbarb Posted June 2, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2022 Just off Escape. Due to reduced capacity, the Supper Club is not serving dinners so the name is a bit misleading right now. However, every night there's entertainment in there. Adds another whole "show" in addition to the nightly shows in the theater. They had cabaret, duos, the Escape show band, flamenco & tango guitarist, rock band. Lots of variety. Generally starts at 7 pm and lasts about 40 minutes. Tre Amici, 3 singers who performed in the theater, also did a show in the Supper Club. Same with the comedy magician. Will vary depending on your cruise's entertainers. Only a couple of them required reservations. Otherwise, place was not full at all so just take a seat. Full bar service. Enjoyed it a lot.

Very Happy to hear this. The Supper Club on our Escape sailing was one of our favorite venues. At the time the dinners were probably "OK" at best...so maybe not serving them now is potentially a good thing.😉 It is a perfect venue to add some different forms of entertainment however. Here's an idea for NCL to consider...maybe change the name of the venue to the "After Supper" club and maybe instead of dinners they could simply walk around and serve complimentary coffee to go along with bar service...and leave it at that. bkrickles1 Posted June 3, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 3, 2022 Saw "Choir of Man" in the Supper Club on Escape in 2018 and it was the best show I've seen on a cruise ship. We subsequently saw Choir of Man again on Encore in the theater and, while it was still great, it was better in the smaller venue.

They're definitely no longer doing "Choir of Man" in the Supper Club, now that it draws such a big audience so all bookings are in the theater. The new show besides "Choir" is a black light "Attractions" show performed by the winners of "Britain's Got Talent." @Red-SolI also laughed about the name as right now there's no supper. They used to offer 2 entrees from the MDR menu of that night. We only had 1500+ on TA and 1700 on Greek Isles. Entertainment only but excellent! It was rather nice to catch a show in there and then have dinner, especially if the Theater was featuring something I'd already seen. Some nights there were only a dozen of us in the Supper Club but it was never even half full! Edited June 3, 2022 by snorklinbarb
drdeal Posted August 27, 2022 #6 Share Posted August 27, 2022 We went the first cruise night to the Divas show at Supper Club. AMAZING vocals from these 3 talented women! Bar service was a little slow, but adequate. They sang standards, R&B, disco… huge range and harmonies were ON POINT! It was a great way to start the cruise.
