Are there umbrellas on Half Moon Cay?

When looking at images of half moon cay, all I see are chairs and clamshells you rent through shore excursions. Are there umbrellas also? I need shade! I can bring one, but would rather not!

There are trees all over the place. 

 

Had plenty of shade all around the cabanas we've rented. 

Hammocks hanging between the trees.

 

Dont remember any umbrellas, just the clamshells.

No umbrellas. Pay for clamshell before cruise (under excursions) because they sell out before cruise. Then get off early and go stand by the one you want. We walked down past ship bar, less crowded.

How long ago were you there?  I've read threads that say there aren't as many trees as there used to be due to a storm.  We were the in March and I didn't notice much shade until you get all the way down to the other end of the beach where there was a strip of trees.

It has been awhile.

Thats why I threw that in there.

I know its been hit by a few storm,s since I was there last, so I assume some may be gone.

 

We always get a cabana down close to the restrooms. (like 11-13ish i think)

Always had a bunch of trees and hammocks around us.
