Richard Janicky, Hotel Manager and new VP untimely passing

I recently got an email from another GM telling me Richard passed away recently in his home in Greece .The year I met him on Epic he was getting marriedto a lovely young woman from Canada .They did get married and was told they had 2 beautiful young girls …a real family man 
Richard was charming, kind, professional and treated me so well .He even spoiled my son who was with me for the first cruise .I continued on the transatlantic and he checked up onnme regularly.

I remember  how he came looking for me when I was under the weather with a cold …found me in a specialty restaurant and immediately ordered ginger tea to be delivered to my cabin.This was how thoughtful and considerate he was .I.m truly sorry he was not able to reallysink his teeth in his new promotion ….he would have been awesome .He will be missed by all who knew him.

My sincere sympathies to those who loved himand his extended NCL family …
