Pre cruise Covid testing in Anchorage Alaska.

We just completed our Land Tour portion of our Celebrity Tour-Cruise.

A negative Covid test is required before we can board the ship today in Seward

   Sad to say Celebrity has made a massive Mess of this entire process.

  We were told that we should Bring our Own Abbot Tele-Test kits we ordered and brought along and Someone this morning would help us complete the test.  We had attempted doing it ourselves in the past without success so the Help we were promised was something we were looking forward to.

We we’re told to meet at 7:45 AM and we would be bused to a conference center In Anchorage where we would get the Help with completing the Test.

After being bused to the center we were made to line up on the sidewalk outside in the cold while confusion about where to go was decided.

Finally when we were let in (about 60 people) we were directed to a room after downloading a QR code and filling out a lot of personal information.

Then I was ask for my Credit Card and told I was being charged $178 for a Covid test!

I ask why I was being Charged for doing a Test I brought with me?

they said they didn’t know anything about that and it was pay them or else?

There was Nobody at this location who actually Works For Celebrity just contracted people

i’m very upset with Celebrity and I Know I will never do another Tour-Cruise with them.

The lack of organization and rampant confusion is shocking and shameful.

Sorry to hear this....we are on a similar trip shortly and will also have the kits and will be sure to find wifi to do it I presume. Or maybe they will have it straightened out by then....
