What is different on board for the celebration evening to another night a part from dressing formal.

Marco Pierre White menu at dinner - which you may or may not consider any better, or worse, than the normal menu.

 

Also more difficult to find a seat in the bars.

You can't go in the MDR's, Beach House, Epicurian, Sindhu or the Crows Nest unless you wear a suit. There is no captain introducing staff etc, apparently because of Covid. Even in normal times the theatre is the only venue possible IMO.

Are there more people wearing suits or tuxedos on Iona, not sure which to bring.
