Does XM Satellite Radio work in the Carribean?

I remember reading somewhere XM signals drop out south of the bahamas, Sirius OTOH works throughout the caribbean with only a few dropouts.

 

Edit: Actually, after looking at the footprint it looks like alot of the caribbean gets coverage but a pretty poor signal. take a look at xmfan dot com and do a search for footprint. It will show you the limits of the coverage.

checked out XM's footprint, wow! it looks like I should get a decent signal down off the east coast and bahamas. St Thomas likely not and labadee will be a maybe. Thanks for the tip. btw, I hear it works fine in Bermuda from someone who lives there.
