Alaska - Seattle to Seattle on Westerdam (Sept. 18-25, '22)

My daughter is sailing with us on this closed loop cruise to Alaska with her 2 yr old.  Neither have passports, but the Holland America rep I chatted with informed me that she can use her WA state enhanced driver's license and my grandson can use his certified birth certificate for ID in lieu of a passport.  Hoping this is correct, but meanwhile they'll apply for their expedited passports hoping they'll arrive in time for the cruise just in case.

Has anyone cruised on Holland America using other forms of ID instead of a passport?
