JessicaG Posted February 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2006 My husband and I will be in Barbados 4/22 with our 5 year old. We have been several times (pre-child) and have done scuba and the rum tours, but we were wondering if anyone out here has something that we should do that our son might also enjoy. He loves the beach, but I don't want to be there all day. Any suggestions? Jessica
SqueakyDust Posted March 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2006 Apparently there is an aquarium in the Christchurch region (I think), and of course there is the Wildlife Reserve - a good day's outing. Would he be happy to go down in the Submarine?
Sunniebgi Posted March 1, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2006 Ocean Park is a new aquarium. Fish and sharks and a playpark as well. He might enjoy this. do Ocean Park, and then head to the beach. Enjoy your day

Sunniebgi Posted March 2, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 2, 2006 nothings really far in Barbados. I would say it's about a 15-20min ride at most.
JessicaG Posted March 2, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted March 2, 2006 The website for OceanPark looks pretty cool, thanks for the idea. What are your opinions on Harrisons Caves? Is it ok for little kids? Jessica
