If you are a crown and anchor member, Celebrity and RC are sister companies have reciprocal benefits with some minor differences between each level. We have sailed both and prefer Celebrity. For port intensive European itineraries we often go for inside or Oceanview rooms to help keep costs down as we have long days in port. I'm surprised Royal hasn't significantly modified Oasis-class ships with this feature as they continue to build the same basic design approaching its 15th year anniversary, a frequent critique is the lack of ocean views from the promenade. NCL did great with it's waterfront concept. Can't wait to see the expansion of the concept on Prima. I am sailing on Liberty OTS with my husband in September and depending on my casino comp offers, maybe Oasis Class in October with a my best friend (she hasn't been on Oasis class) I do like switching things up every so often to see how cruiselines improve/decline etc. One of my previous complaints about Oasis class is that it seems very inward facing and that there is not a lot of emphasis on the connection to the ocean, etc (Besides Solarium), but my husband actually loves the mall like feel on RCI and I prefer NCL layout better lol.
