My family has rented  a cabana at Half Moon Cay for our upcoming Carnival cruise.

This is the first time we have splurged and i am curious how we are assigned which cabana.

Anyone who has any experience with this, i would love to hear from you.

Thanks,

You need to stop by the Excursions Desk when you board. You will select your cabana, give them size info for snorkeling equipment, and give them your choices for soft drinks they will have for you in the cabana.

If you have a preference (we like #10 or #9), go to the excursion desk asap, as stated above.  They'll want your fins sizes and drink choices.

Concur.  We've had #9 and #11 in the past and loved that area.  Far enough away from the loud bars to be pleasant; not too far from the free/included lunch buffet; and there's a handy set of bathrooms right behind you.

Be advised that ship's crew will come by and start cleaning up your cabana 60-90 minutes before back-on-board, so finish your snacks and sodas (or put them in your own bags for later) before then.

To the OP, enjoy!  There's a REASON why HMC cabanas are among Carnival's most highly-rated excursions.
