pukekolive Posted August 2, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2022 Hi CruiseCritic Community! Has anyone had experience with any private tour/ shore excursion operators who will transport people with poorer mobility thanks? I don't have a chair, scooter or a walker but does use a hiking pole(s) to assist with walking and going up stairs as I have limited ability to lift my knees. Just about all of the excursions on my Celebrity cruise to Japan in October 2023 state that they are not suitable for people with limited mobility. When we booked for 2020 I was more mobile but in the last 2 years I have got worse. I am aware that Japan, particularly around the temples has a lot of steps but I'm sure that there must be some places that are more accessible than others. Any suggestions as I particularly don't want to miss out on Kyoto!
