Philly Kate Posted August 5, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2022 We will be on our first Regent cruise next year and are really looking forward to it. I recently had a knee replacement revision, and walking in the pool is the perfect exercise. How deep is the pool on Splendor? Just wondering if I will be able to walk in it (i.e. feet hit the bottom of the pool) rather than swim. Thanks.
Kwaj girl Posted August 5, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2022 @Philly Kate use the infinity pool aft of the spa - lightly heated and hardly used so you can easily walk in the pool and do other exercises, too. I am 5'6" and have no problem doing so.
daetchief Posted August 5, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2022 Customarily the main pools on all the ships are graduated from 18-24" at the entry up to almost 72' at the deep end. The pool is ample but not enormous. The floor will have a noticeable slant to it, but you should find a comfortable depth for most activities. Linda VH Posted August 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2022 If you don’t actually have to touch the bottom I would suggest taking along an Aquajogger (goes and around your waist and suspends you in the water while you jog/walk).
Playtennis Posted August 24, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2022 Glad to have read the measurements of the ship's pools..for depth. Does anyone know the lengths? Wife and I are swimmers and like to have at least a 20 meter length pool. Otherwise I've named the pools, "Push off and bump your head" pools! Keith Not very long and not enough room to swim laps unless you are alone. And don't jump off the upper deck into the deep end - it isn't deep enough! Playtennis Posted August 24, 2022 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2022 I expected the measurements. Swimming laps will have to wait to return to US.

You mean you expected it to be small or you expected me to answer your question and not go off on a tangent?
