boobooboo Posted March 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2006 Any suggestions for clothing that I should include in packing for a round-trip (from/to Seattle) "Icy Strait" cruise? I am aware of the dining attire aboard ship, but would like to know what would be comfortable during that time of year for excursions.
dougp26364 Posted March 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2006 We've always been comfortable in blue jeans and T-shirts. The weather can always change so a lite jacket is a good idea and don't forget a rain poncho or umbrella. It rains (IMO mist really) in Alaska. Some people will take a sweater that they can tie around their waste to put on if they get a little cold. At night it can get down right chilly out on deck and I've seen a lot of people with winter weight coats on. Personally, a jean jacket has always been the most I've ever needed.
