Curtis6978 Posted March 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2006 Hi, my name is CUrtis, this is actually my 1st post on this board! I have a question about a cruise my wife and I along with 2 other couples, are taking in July abord the Carnival Valor. My question is this... We are departing PHL on july 8 and the cruise is July 9th. We are flying into ft lauderdale and need to find a decent hotel preferrably under $100 a night. Do hotel chains, or cruise lines offer transport from the airport to the hotel, and then from the hotel to the port the next morning? How much would it cost to get from ft lauderdale to port of Miami? Should we look for a hotel closer to the port? I am just trying to find the most economical way to get from FLL to the port the next day. thanks for any help! :D
VentureMan_2000 Posted March 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2006 Is FLL a cheaper airport to fly into and MIA (Miami)? Do a search on this topic. You will find what you are looking for. I think a cab is $80 each way. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn, Bayside, Miami Port down town. Check it out. 340 Biscayne Blvd. I cut and pasted this from a post by TrentS: For transportation from FLL to Miami we use either Tri-County Transportation, or Larry's Limo. Both are reliable, reputable local companies. Depending on the size of your party it may be cheaper to either just rent a car, or take Tri-County's shared van service.
