Miami Beach / South Beach hotels

Looking for post cruise hotel in the South Beach / Miami Beach area.  Sailing the first week in December returning on Sunday with a flyout on Monday.  Nothing fancy, just an unwind stay. What are your favorites?

I like The Urbanica The Meridan Hotel, not directly on south beach, but a couple block back, nice boutique hotel with decent prices. Stayed there a night before our cruise a couple years back, and it was very clean, and the staff were outstanding.

Does it have to be a hotel?  We stayed in an airbnb last October.  Fantastic hostess, comfortable and attractive furnishings.   The unit had a  parking spot, a good kitchen and beach gear you can use.    I don't know if we're allowed to link such listings here, but I would be happy to share the information.  I'm thinking of booking this place for our pre-cruise stay in November.
