Galaxy replacement?

Does anyone know if they will be replacing the Galaxy sailings out of Galveston? I heard that the last one would be coming up before long and that the Galaxy would be using San Juan as her home port. Anyone know more about this?

My TA says there doesn't appear to be any replacement out of Galveston for the Galaxy.

Yes it is true. Galaxy is moving to San Juan this Winter, and there will be no Celebrity replacement out of Galveston.

 

Royal Caribbean will have at least 1 ship out of Galveston though.

Yep! We asked on our cruise over Christmas if they will ever bring a X back to Galveston and they said maybe in the future! So I hope they will!

RCI used the Splendor for the Panama Canal itinerary prior to the Galaxy coming to Galveston. Maybe they will look at restoring that itinerary.
