This poor guy has been getting harassed for these CCs more than on any thread I've seen.  I was after him a couple days ago too!  😄

Thank you again @alexgtp for taking the time from your cruise to post all this info.  Such a huge help in the planning process.  If you happen by Gio's Table at any point when they're open for lunch, can you find out what the cover is?  Thx again!

Ha! Ha! I can imagine. I guess it is because Voyager has been out of the country for 10 years and we can't find anything online. 🙂

He is a good sport posting for us all.

I live in Saint John across from the Cruise terminal.  I am sure you probably already know this, but just an FYI that it appears the Sites & Suds tour starts in Rockwood Park which is not near the port so you would need to arrange transportation.  It should be around 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic.  We do not have Uber/Lyft here but taxis should be readily available.

Thanks. Yes I knew this. Ended up staying on the ship due to weather.

Giovanni's is open for lunch sea days. But it's a taste of Giovanni's.. Not sure what that is.??

No worries about posting, lots of downtime on these type of cruises  it's the internet part that slows me down. Not the best at seas, but good for emails, social media type stuff. Would not recommend for any type of work VPNs. (I work IT so il pretty familiar with infrastructure)

Oh boy another Alpha,

just witnessed a person getting out of hot tub fall down steps getting out.

Lifeguards and med staff quickly on site.  Person is still on floor being looked at, hope it is not too bad an injury  but not looking good.

You can't see person, so I feel ok to post pic,  the staff all on hand tending to person .

Thanks!  I'm assuming the 'Taste of Gio's' is referring to the fact that it's a pared down menu from what they offer for dinner..  And $23 was a little over what i was hoping.  Looks like DW sins and it will be lunch in the MDR on sea days.

Surprised about the Bar Harbor cancel only in that I would have thought it to be far enough away to really avoid any trouble for you guys but guess I was wrong.

Hope the fall victim is OK, bummer of a vacation when someone gets hurt.

My guess is that since Bar Harbor is tendered, the seas could be too rough and they don't want to take chances.

Yes, I also hope that person who fell is OK and all that is bruised is his pride.

Yes I feel bad for those visiting this week.  The weather has been terrible

We live in New England so totally understood the uncertainty of the weather here. Wish they would have considered an overnight in Boston tomorrow but I’m sure logistics would be an issue given the timing.

The MY Time MDR lines and wait times are borderline annoying. We tend to be in line by 615 ish.

So plan accordingly, and most importantly don't beat up on staff, they are truly doing their best. If anything I would ble upset with RCL management for sailing at capacity, without having the staff to accommodate Fuller ships.

it was our Second since the pandemic. We were on the Adventure. We came home with Covid. We didn't wear masks but now sure wish we had. We are all ok only mild symptoms, but still a pain. We did just fine no covid at all after cruising this past March.

How long ago were you on Adventure? We board on the 29th.  Did you do MTD?

This is the best way to look at it. The cruise lines are in a huge rush to placate their shareholders and returned to service too quickly given staffing and supply issues.

Good luck with the rough seas, hopefully they find a pocket of smooth so y'all can enjoy the rest of your cruise without seasickness!

Thank you, Alex....it seems to be the same on Adventure.  I've got 7pm reservations once we get on board, but it looks like we're just going to have to have the patience and be glad that we're sailing, as opposed to be sitting in our recliner watching the television each evening.

Say hi to Faheem (spelling?) - host for MTD reservation line.  Just got off the Transatlantic (had 7 PM reservations with Alvito/Ashish).

DW and I are on this cruise currently. I can answer a couple of un answered questions.
Internet very slow. Better early and late.
Embarkation, very fast for us. We had 1pm, arrived 12:15, walked on.
Someone mentioned they were surprised we went to Sydney. Us also. When we left, I have never been on a cruise ship going as fast as we were. I think the Captain cut it very close. I monitored our position and weather radar and we were just ahead of the edge of storm. Very rough and windy then and now.

Fun fact. When docked in Canada, they require Royal to have only one bar open per deck. Very odd.

So yesterday we hit all the indoor bars. Here is something to chew on. So we headed  to crown lounge. Closed for Pinnacle only. Wow. We peaked in and there were 3 members inside. At the Sam time the diamond lounge on this ship is very small, cramped. Maybe a swap is in order, just saying.

I am not much of a review guy but here are a few. Ship could use some work. Not sure what the schedule is, could use a dry dock. Food OK, Service good. Drinks good.

Here is something: This was the first cruise back in the states for the ship. The casino is set up for European taste. Meaning, no video poker, no tradition slots, haywire etc. no Craps. I asked and was informed they will transition back to add and remove.
