MSC said they would only give a FCC due to late cancellation and refund the taxes. Wanting a full refund he filed an insurance claim. The insurance company paid his claim. A few days later he received a full refund from MSC!!!! I suggested that he notify the insurance company to check his position as he did not want to risk insurance fraud. If the insurance company did not want reimbursement then he would double dip. I also told him to not contact MSC as that would probably get top convoluted. Did I give the correct advice?
