oracer Posted September 21, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2022 We are thinking about taking a cruise from London to Iceland next August (second week in August). We will be in Iceland four days. I see in google that the best time to see the northern lights is September to April. The days are like 16 hours of Sunlight, any chance in August to see the lights? grayjay Posted September 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2022 I'm afraid there won't be a big chance - too much daylight. We had northern lights in September after midnight, but were lucky. Better to come back in winter, especially to the north or west of Iceland or even go to Norway or Svalbard in February or March.
