sealgs2000 Posted March 5, 2006 #26 Share Posted March 5, 2006 As long as we are on a ship we don't care!!! We have done it all, inside, outside and balcony. Since our very first cruise which was a inside cabin we have been hooked. If we want to continue cruising every year or twice we book the cheapest and can guarantee you we have just as good of a time with a inside as a balcony. Aunt Karen Posted March 5, 2006 #27 Share Posted March 5, 2006 Well when you are out on your balcony take a look to your right... see that huge area there.... now knock on your neighbors door and make friends and get them to unlock the connecting doors on the balconys and really have a fabulous time... As for the view.... I spent many a hours just sitting there watching the wake of the ship as it passed in the distant... and the sunrises and sunsets are unbelievable. The sound of the water passing by is just like a rushing river... very soothing. Thanks for the advice, maybe I'll need to borrow a cup of sugar or something! Sounds lovely.... thanks again for the info : )
swatts1 Posted March 5, 2006 #28 Share Posted March 5, 2006 We always cruise with a group of people so spend very little time in our room. We like to know what time of day it is so have to have a window, at least. The balcony is a waste for us. It was OK, but we'd rather spend the money shopping. Maybe we'll try it again some day, but we just don't see what the big deal is with a balcony.
