Starr2015 Posted October 13, 2022 Author #26 Share Posted October 13, 2022 Morning Our ship's itinerary went from Norfolk and Bermuda to an overnight in Bermuda. We docked about 6pm. All the Wharf shops were closed but there was the Blue Ferry at 715! Headed into Hamilton for a quick bite to try the food (Turbot fish and chips are good) before catching the last ferry at 830 back. The whole day had more to do compared to the first sea day. No karaoke, and no karaoke again tonight but we made do. Spoke to staff and may go on the carts today....with only me on the track. Pretty bad crashes yesterday as per staff and passengers. Enjoyed the sun though! On the Accessible Bermuda Drive today which is 5 hours. All aboard is about an hour after that. Running to go get Starbucks now. Bye all!
Fire Chief 2481 Posted October 13, 2022 #27 Share Posted October 13, 2022 As a fellow smoker, can you tell me the price for Marlboro cartons in the duty-free shop? Single or multiple discounts. Smoke em if you got em. Enjoy the rest of your cruise.

I know, different month, different ship, but hopefully that gives you a decent idea.
BarnCat1 Posted October 16, 2022 #29 Share Posted October 16, 2022 In the smoking area on Deck 18, is there anywhere to sit or just a little huddle area? How closely is the Cigar Bar monitored to be sure you are only smoking Cigars (i.e., party of 2 one has a cigar, the other a cigarette, is that a problem?). Is the Casino monitored to be sure you are playing and smoking? Can you be watching a player and smoking? Sorry, just trying to cover all probable situations. dcruiser50 Posted October 16, 2022 #30 Share Posted October 16, 2022 Just got off the Prima yesterday, The facts are that smoking is only permitted on deck 18 forward sun deck in toped off area, no elevator, you must walk up from deck 17. There is a life attached to the port side stairs with a number to call but no phone. The smokers that assembled dragged chaises into the area and managed to lure bar waiters with good tips to servicethe area. All chaises picked up and put away at sundown. No shaded area, only womens/ handicap bathroom. As a smoker I respect that people don't want to be exposed but all we ask is that we get a proper area for our use like other NCL ships, canceling my March Prima cruise
no1dan2001 Posted October 18, 2022 #31 Share Posted October 18, 2022 Interesting, thanks for the heads up. I was on the encore at the beginning of the year and the central location on the pool deck wasn't too inconvenient, plus I got to know all of the regulars! Sailing on the Prima in Jan, hopefully it is manageable.
