Harbor Cam ~ Galveston

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if that is the CONQUEST sitting there.... The date on the cam says Saturday. I know that there were some problems with the cam. Just wondering...

On a side note: My sister left yesterday on the Grand Princess - She had to call me to let me know that her ship was bigger than the Carnival ship. I told her that we have more fun!!:p

So it is accurate today - even though the date is yesterday?

...and I hate to be the bearer of bad news for your sister, the Grand Princess size is 109,000 tons and the Conquest is 110,000 tons. While only 1,000 tons - legally, the Conquest is bigger...

It works. You are probably using a cached bookmark. Go to the Galveston.com home page and follow the links. There's a problem with the links.

Yippee! I thought I knew everthing about computers!! It's working. Thanks for telling me how to 'fix' it! :D

I used the kroooz-cam link and it still shows Tuesday and NO ships:rolleyes: What is the Galveston link you are talking about? I miss not seeing the ships in port!;)

Your right, just went to krooz-cam link & it's not correct. I always use Galveston.com link. It's working although the date is wrong.

Try this--

The url has changed. The old url (displaying the picture from the 28th) was:

http://www.galveston.com/webcams/harborhouse/frameset.html

and the new one (displaying the picture dated Sat Mar 4) is:

http://webcams.galveston.com/harborhouse2005/harborhousemp.jpg

("frameset.html" works too....only difference between the two I noticed was that one includes some descriptive text)

If you are using this:

http://webcams.galveston.com/harborh...borhousemp.jpg

that mummy posted it will not update. That is point to a single static image snapped by the webcam.

You have to use:

http://webcams.galveston.com/harborhouse2005/frameset.html

to get the complete page containing the code needed to make the image update.

The Cam is working, but the Time and Date stamp is not updating. The sun has moved and I watched a boat come out of the bottom of the screen and turn right to head out into the harbor. Also saw another craft move near the Conquest and then turn away.
