Handicap options Seattle

We are booked on an Alaskan cruise out of Seattle. My wife is a paraplegic and uses a wheelchair. We will be flying into Seattle the prior day and would like to hear about options to the cruise terminal. Specifically, should we stay near the airport or near the cruise terminal, arrange transfers with NCL or independently, etc. We are new to this and appreciate any suggestions.
