Ordering drinks with the Navigator App

The Navigator App says you can order drinks through it. So what happens if you have one of the drinks packages / HIA?  Are they covered when ordering thru the app? Or is this ordering process only for room delivery and you would be charged as part of the room service exemption for drink packages?

The only option for ordering drinks in the app we saw on our last voyage was for in-room service, which we did not use as it was easy enough to walk to a bar and bring back a beverage, which helped get our steps up too.

 

Other lines (like Princess) use a medallion and app to both locate you and let you order drinks to wherever you are. On the larger ships this may be much more useful?
