How many have docked at their ports late?

I know that a lot of you have been on quite a few cruises. How many have docked in ports late? We are due to dock in Nassau at 7am next Wed. I want to book the 8:30am dolphin encounter so that we can enjoy the beach for the afternoon. I am paranoid about the ship being late though.

Thanks

Joanne

It's just one of those things you can't forsee. If weather is bad, or in the case of our last cruise, we had a medical emergency and had to stop in Miami on the way back and ended up over 2 hours late returning to Port Canaveral. Sometimes, we've missed entire ports all together. However, usually the operators will refund your money if you miss it due to the ship not making port. So I would book what I wanted and just be sure they will refund if the ship doesn't make port. My guess is that they most of them will.
