We just got off the Connie on the 11th. Ship was full for our cruise. Interesting your thoughts on the Tuscan Grill.  For us I thought the food was really good but the service was very slow.  That canned water is from Italy or at least it was on our sailing.

Crab cake fried perfectly however the inside was not hot.

Spinach lacked seasoning.

No butter arrived with the bread. When I we asked about it, it was delivered too cold to spread on the bread.

Polenta had a creamy center and afterwards I asked if it was cheese. I felt ill afterwards 

 

The ribeye was excellent!!!!

Cruise Director announced 1,532 passengers on board

A quick follow up on the internet. I upgraded the surf to premium when I boarded.
 

I was able to log out of one device and connect to the other. I was also able to connect to Netflix and watch a show. No buffering.

It's a pleasure to follow along with you. I learned something from your cabin photos. I think you're having a good cruise so far and you have many more days in front of you.

Day 3 Entertainment 

The entertainment has been great. Two vocalists.
 

James Lee Humphreys opera singer was outstanding. 

 

Janiene Valentine did a tribute to divas. She was outstanding as well.

 

We also participated in bracelet making and The Race game show. Our team won. The team captain won a baseball cap she’ll treasure for a lifetime 😀

Day 2 late morning I gave my cabin steward two items for press only. They were returned the afternoon of day 3. Pretty good…,,

Quiet

Nice area on deck 3 for reading and watching the waves go by. Very quiet and not heavily used. This area is behind the glass elevators mid ship.

I pretty much had been everywhere on Constellation during my 15 night cruise (except for the gym, sadly) but I don't remember seeing this!!  Located down low and towards the center of the ship, maybe I should have spent time there riding out the day I was seasick.

The rendezvous lounge also has many window seats. It’s quiet when no activities are scheduled. Newer furniture too.

Puerto Plata

First time here. Still under construction for phase 2. Good shopping for the usual souvenirs. People very friendly and not pushy. Long pier however golf cart rides are available. Nice beach area with chairs. Several restaurants and one coffee shop.

We took part in the fish spa. Negotiated a lower for 2 people.

Other information & happenings 

 

Each day there is a different suduko and crossword puzzle located at guest services.

 

Several activities each day with the officers versus guests. Such as ring toss, bean bag toss and archery 

 

Celebrity today paper is delivered at night. The app works well also for the daily planner.

 

Easy to spread out in the theatre because we aren’t sailing full 

 

Arrive early for the various destination talks. Seating is limited on deck 5

 

Shore excursions are less expensive in the planner before the cruise.

 

Plenty of seats today mid afternoon at the pool and in the solarium 

 

Pool side hamburgers are very good however I wish they would melt the cheese.

 

Activities staff very engaging
