JOHN 57 Posted January 20, 2023 #26 Share Posted January 20, 2023 Hello, well the cruise went well, and it was a beautiful ship and cruise; however, Thursday evening, the day of our return. I developed covid. I did see my kidney doctor and more testing. So, remember, always, always wear the mask.

Feels good I don't have to take a flight to Florida to get on a decent Carnival ship

Rare Bound4Bermuda Posted February 19, 2023 #30 Share Posted February 19, 2023 Hello! I’m excited and a little nervous for this trip since we’ve never done Carnival. We typically go on Royal Caribbean, but when I saw this brand-new ship with a unique itinerary for $2000 less what we were looking at for RCI, we decided to give it a shot. The reason why I’m nervous is that my daughter was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, so now I’m panicking thinking about all of the factors we need to account for and though I’m confident RCI would help with carb counts, etc., I’m not sure how accommodating Carnival is. Though, I guess they’re all basically the same—I hope.
bjinouno Posted May 12, 2023 #31 Share Posted May 12, 2023 Hi I'm Barbara from Tarrytown, NY I have cruised several times with Carnival I'm at the end of my gold.. woo hoo (whatever) LOL Can't wait to walk around this beautiful ship and take it all in. I'll be traveling with my grandson who is 13 and found out after I booked that my son, daughter-in-law and 2 granddaughters will be 3 doors down from us, We all booked an interior cabin.... in the Terenzia area, who needs a balcony when you have the aft of the ship, with drinks served and a light breakfast LOL.. I have been to these ports before, Of course, I can't say enough for HMC LOVE IT, Grand Turk, wear water shoes, D.R we will be sharing that port with another ship they arrive an hour before us, so Who knows, Last year I took my grandson to Ocean world for the day to swim with the dolphins which was great, and got back to port and enjoyed a quiet pool for about an hour. I am really praying the buffet food will be plentiful and a good variety Last summer on the Magic I have to say it sucked. Other areas to eat were good, especially the Crab legs and shrimp while sitting pool side watching the sun set
