Pebbels Posted November 25, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2022 Are everything back to the way they were before covid? Did our first post-covid cruise a month ago, a bad experience with Costa, loooong lines, no self service in the buffet. Buffet dinner was only one hour, 20:00 - 21:00. Long periods of the day with NO food available at all..... Low quality and quantity on food, MDR better than buffet, buffet was terrible Considering a transatlantic in march on MSC Seawiev from Rio to Barcelona. What to expect regarding the food situation on MSC ships these days? Have done transatlantic with MSC before and been happy, but afraid things are not how it used to be... BertieRulesOK Posted November 25, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 25, 2022 MSC Virtuosa. Buffet was self serve. Each meal could be taken in the MDR if you preferred. Buffet was never overly busy, but I sailed non-school holidays. Heard some horror stories about buffet and the number of "darling children" running amuck in half term!
