Carnevale Posted November 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2022 If anyone has a hotel they like in Dublin I would love to hear from you. I am having trouble figuring out where to stay after a cruise that ends there.
LidoLiz Posted December 4, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2022 We loved the Harding Hotel on historic Fishamble Street. Very well located, walkable to most everything and close to the airport bus connector. It was reasonably priced, with basic accommodation, but a great pub with live music on the ground level. Much better than staying in the nearby touristy Temple Bar.
dabear Posted December 4, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2022 We're staying at the Westbury. It's rated #1 by Travel & Leisure.
MeHeartCruising Posted December 4, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2022 I’m not aware of your budget or style, but it’s hard to beat The Shelbourne. It’s located on the famous St. Stephen’s Green (I.e. Park). It’s a couple minute walk from the start of the Grafton Street pedestrian shopping avenue. And probably a 10 minute walk to Trinity University/Book of Kells and the main tourist section.
Carnevale Posted December 6, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted December 6, 2022 Many thanks! This has given me some good leads and I am looking forward to digging into these options. From our own digging so far The Davenport seems to be a possibility as we have ruled out being in the Temple Bar area (we expect it might be too noisy for us as we are light sleepers). Thx again!
