Scuba diving in Alaska

Well, I haven't been quite as far north as Alaska for diving, just to British Columbia, but if it is anything like BC, then I'd definitely dive there. I have a dive buddy who's brother lives in Anchorage. He has done some diving when he has gone to visit. He said it was pretty good diving.

In February I took a trip to Campbell River BC, which is about half way up on Vancouver Island, to do some diving. Second year in a row for this trip. It was really good. The visibility was in the 50-60 ft. range, but the water was a couple of degrees cooler than last year. I have a few underwater photos from the trip on my website, if you want to see what lives in 45 f. water.

I'd check on http://www.scubaboard.com in the North America section if you are looking for a dive operator recommendation.
