We are shortly due to go on Ventura. Could anyone who has just returned from her recent cruises to Spain and Portugal and then the Canaries advise as to which speciality restaurants were open, what staffing levels are like in the MDR, buffet and bars and what the overall experience was like. We would appreciate any advice as to what to expect. Thank you.

We had 12 days on Ventura in October, and throughly enjoyed the cruise. We didn’t use the Epicurean or Sindu, so can’t comment on those The glass house was only serving drinks, and MDR was at the usual standard ( although the choices may have been slightly restricted) . We felt it was a very friendly ship. Have a wonderful cruise.

On Ventura now, have not been able to book any speciality dining. Tried booking on embarkation day at around 6pm and nothing available. No food in Glasshouse. MDR would advise joining virtual queue as early as possible. Service can be slow.

in general the staff are friendly and the food is good but obvious signs of staff shortages
