penlanspice Posted March 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2006 Hi After some help. I am visiting the Grand Cayman for a day as part of our honeymoon cruise. My partner has given me one job and that is to sort out the trips when we are on shore. Having looked at several for the Cayman Islands this one seems pretty good. My only concern is that the beaches here seem amazing and look as if they are the most attractive part of the Island. What I basically want to know is the time scales of this trip 1. Does it take all day? 2. Do you get to see all the best part of the island? 3. How much time do you get to spend on the beach? 4. Would you recommend it?Thanks for the help. Cheeseboy Posted March 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2006 Little Bird, this sounds like the same tour I'm considering. Was the ride bumpy at all near the cliffs? My wife is pregnant and don't want to chance an "off-road" experience. Also, do you happen to know if anyone did short boat trips to Stingray City from Rum Point? You mentioned another little side trip you took, so wondering if you saw anything like that as well.
DapnKap Posted March 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2006 We are going to do this tour too! I sent an email to them on Sunday to check for availability and I had a reply on Monday! They want a 15% deposit, which is like $20, so that works for me! Grand Cayman here I come!:p
texancruzer Posted March 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2006 I think I missed something somewhere...... Which jeep tour is the op talking about ? There are numerous ones. I am looking to book with Royal Caribbean since it will just be my dd and myself. We usually (dh and myself) like to rent cars/jeeps and "do our own thing" BUT HE IS NOT GOING ON THIS TRIP !!! So feel safer doing cruiseline tours. The one we are looking at is Cayman 4X4 jeep Wrangler Adventure and Beach snorkle - 5-/2 hrs. Please clarify which "tour" you are referring to .... thanks.
