Pre-Pay Gratuities After Check In?

Yes.

HOWEVER, there's really no need to pre-pay gratuities, they will be automatically charged to your Sail and Sign account on the next to last day of the cruise.

I can understand why some folks might want to pre-pay this so they don't have to worry about it, but I just always know ahead of time how much I'll be charged for gratuities and keep an eye on my account.

Yes. We've prepaid the day we left for the cruise.

While that may not make sense to some people, I prefer to pay my gratuities outright and not on my credit card which I use for my onboard account.

If you have gift cards to use, using them to prepay grats would probably make things simpler, as you'd have less cards to add to your account once onboard.

Great idea, I am going to do that now. Thanks!

You can't prepay gratuities using OBC though, correct? I was just trying to see if that was possible, and there didn't seem to be a payment option for it.

You can use the OBC to pay gratuities once you are onboard.  It makes no sense to me, but it appears to be the rule.
