Macdooger4 Posted December 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2022 Looking to book a tour to Eze and Monte-Carlo, but it doesn't include La Croisetts, which I'd really like to see. Is that something we could do ourselves (quickly?) either before or after our tour?
MeHeartCruising Posted December 7, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2022 (edited) Yes, you can walk along the entire waterfront and Boulevard de la Croisette if you wish and have the time. You can walk the street sidewalk or, on the water side it is a wider promenade. It is a very nice walk. You can see this all on Google Maps. Your ship will tender you into the marina at the left if you are looking at the map. My Mid-70s parents and I leisurely walked as far as The Carlton Hotel before turning back. This only took us 30 minutes or so and we were stopping to take pictures and to gawk along the way. Rare ollienbertsmum Posted January 1, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2023 You can see on this Google map where the NCL tender boat comes in. Pretty sure other cruiselines would use same area. I would assume that a trip to Monte Carlo would need a morning departure. Whether you have time for your walk to ensure that you don't miss the last tender tender would have to be an ‘on the day’ decision. Monte Carlo and Nice are both on my wish list, but every time we stop at Cannes we have really enjoyed little local activities. I think we need a land tour.
