problems booking rooms for 2007

i have a wedding cruise in FEB of 2007 - i have been online thru orbitz,etc,,, trying to book rooms for this date and it says the dates not avail, i've called hotel galvez and they are tellin me the rates wont be guaranteed if i book a room now, any suggestions- i dont want to wait til 2 late to get good rooms and the hotels havent been very helpful with giving me exact amounts and reserving a room - any suggestions? :confused:

CAll the hotels directly. The problem with the web sites you mention is that they do not have the contracts for 2007 yet. Some hotel will take the reservation and tell you that their may be a 10% increase next year. Yoy could always wait until July and try again.
