NCL Bliss New Years Eve - It's Been Awhile

Good afternoon everyone. I was hoping for maybe some pointers and feedback.  GF and I are on the Bliss out of Miami on 12/31.  I cruised pretty often from 2000-2012, but not since then.  I know a lot has changed since then and I mean ALOT! I can get long winded if allowed so I am going to put some of our important details below and then maybe some quick bullet point type questions.  I truly appreciate any help and feedback.  We booked this kind of last second so I may have missed the chance to book some things.

 

Cabin is a Spa Balcony (B9)

Check-In Time 10:00AM-10:03AM

I did Purchase Priority Booking(Mainly thinking a NYE cruise was going to be pretty full) 

We have Free At Sea w/ Premium Plus Beverage Upgrade

Put it in some bids for a Haven Upgrade but not expecting any availability

 

Since we booked last minute its looks like Cagney's shows no availability, but I have read that once onboard that if we move quickly there should be some. Is that true and thoughts on best way to reserve onboard, app, tv, in person?  

 

I am also seeing "Booking Unavailable" for Vibe Beach Club, will it also be possible to book The Vibe onboard if we are quick to do so?  

 

We are in our early 40's and plan to take it as easy as possible.  We have both traveled extensively so we aren't looking to rush off the ship, so any pointers on little entertainment gems, bars, or restaurants we should put on our list please let me know.    

 

Any other NCL pointers would be greatly appreciated as well.

Enjoy the Observation Lounge, drinks, snacks, best views.  You have a good chance of making all your reservations once onboard.  they only release so many prior to cruise.
