Silver loyalty drink pkg discount

I know this is splitting hairs here but ---Say you are Silver level and are supposed to get 40% off the unlimited drink package. NCL has been offering the packages included for a long time now on many sailings. Wondering- do you get reduced gratuities b/c of your discount? OR is the discount really only good if you buy it outright?

"Unlimited Open Bar Package discount is applicable when purchasing the Unlimited Open Bar Package. Discount is per person, for qualifying Latitudes guest(s) depending on their Latitudes Tier."

 

The 20% that you pay when taking the promo is based on the regular price, not the discounted price.

Not right now since they have been offering it as part of FAS for quite a while.  I do remember a long ago distant time when it wasn't always a perk or when certain cabin categories only got 1 or 2 of the FAS not all of them.  If they ever stop offering the FAS, then that will become a benefit.

Well if you book a sailaway cabin that doesn’t include FAS then you could be buying the beverage package with the latitudes discount applied.
