Captain Crunch Posted March 14, 2006 #26 Share Posted March 14, 2006 Well said, I exercise the same caution while on a cruise that I do when I'm at home and I forbid our DS to leave the ship without us and he's 20 years old. We are in a strange environment and amongst 3000 or more strangers so I say one can never be too careful. I don't intend to let my children off the ship without me, I can't beleive they'd be allowed off the ship or in a tender without a parent , but I'd like to know why I shouldn't let my kids (13 & 10) go to the pool without me or my wife, go to lunch, walk the Promandae, go to a show or go the the teen or kids activity areas, especially when we are at sea or anchored off shore? [sorry 'bout the run on sentence] Please let me know, we've never cruised with our kids before and we have only cruised once, on HAL, and there weren't many kids on that cruise. Nliedel Posted March 15, 2006 #27 Share Posted March 15, 2006 Safe as I always feel. Never any worries at all. Of course I do take normal precautions.
