Possible to hit it all?

Hi All,

 

Great site! Gonna do St. Maarten in 2 weeks.

Is it possible to shop in Philipsburg, hit Orient beach for some rays, visit Marigot, then hit Maho beach for some fun in 10 hours? Small island, but traffic is bad, no? Anyone ever done it? :D

That would depend on how much fun you plan to have along the way. I think you can enjoy these locations in 10 hours. Adjust your times based on your interests and keep an eye on the time -- you can always skip one if you decide.

 

10 hrs - 2 hrs drive time (circle of the island) - 2 hrs shopping - 2 hrs lunch and rays on Orient - 2 hrs shopping in Marigot - 1 hr at Maho should do you = 1 hr to get on/off ship.

 

I'd pre-arrange a car and driver for the day. It will save you the time in renting/returning, and save time in locating the best places, parking, etc.
