southbayer Posted March 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Anyone ever travel to those places from Ft. Lauderdale.... Was wondering what the weather is like during Nov/Dec ??
cruisinkitten Posted March 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Not sure about nov/dec but we were there in january and it was very warm and sunny. White water rafting in costa rica was awsome!! The best excursion ever. Didn't care for panama too much though but could have been because our tour was canceled.

wrp96 Posted March 9, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Both Costa Rica and Panama are below the Tropic of Cancer, so they are considered tropical countries. Both places have hot weather year round. I believe in Panama they said their wet season lasts through around December or January, but I might have that wrong.
Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted March 9, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Anyone ever travel to those places from Ft. Lauderdale.... Was wondering what the weather is like during Nov/Dec ?? I can't say (firsthand) - however come along with us on the Legend (Nov. 16th) and then we will BOTH know!!! Our cruise (8-day) leaves the Thursday BEFORE Thanksgiving, and gets back the day after turkey day... plenty of time to UNWIND and make your way home following the holiday! And for some reason, the rates are fairly low for a Holiday sailing! Go ahead... you know you WANT to! Here is a link to our roll call! http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=208508 Tom
Mary Jane 711 Posted May 9, 2006 #6 Share Posted May 9, 2006 I was in Costa Rica mid November last year. This is the end of the rainy season, However, it really wasn't that rainy. It is hot near the ocean, but in the mountains and inland the temps are much cooler.
DANofNORTH Posted May 11, 2006 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2006 We did the Sun Princess in 2001 late November & the weather was great! We stopped at both of these ports & I believe thast is was in the mid 80's (26.6 C) and fairly humid. We took the Jungle River tour in Costa Rica & it turned out to be the highlite of the whole cruise. :) Have a great cruise, you will not need a coat.
